A Unique Trilayer Structure
Smilefind layered sheet TPU features an elastomeric inner core for flexibility and a hard outer shell for precise tooth grip. The outer shell supports movements like rotation and protects against grinding, while the inner core ensures excellent elastic rebound.
- The outermost shell provides abrasion resistance, acting as a tough barrier against grinding or bruxing forces of the teeth.
- The inner shell is tough and grips the teeth firmly to exert a strong and sustained force, moving them in a precisely controlled manner.
- Sandwiched between the outer and inner shells lies the central elastomeric layer, which provides elasticity to the entire structure.
